The site was down all weekend but today it's up again. There was a message
by Donna on the forums:

So soon we will have to login at meteorgames.com instead of twinskies.com.

Hm... I don't know... sometimes I have the feeling that I have been wasting
my time by working so hard for all these Achievements and Meteorites... What
will they be worth?

well I slacked off playing over there... and if they don't transfer all our
efforts... that won't be nice...

our achievements and meteorites will be worth exactly what our Neopoints are
worth.

IMHO, spending time on Twinskies was always a risk as I had no idea of
the future value of the currency so could not correlate time spent vs
reward, unlike neopets where I "know" what a neopoint is worth and what
a trophy is worth so can decide on what is worth my time and what is
not.

So personally, I didn't. I just logged in, bet on my duck and left it at
that and spent my time on neopets instead. Watch and wait and hope they
can come up with a great game is my plan. :-)

well one problem was the 50 point cap on games.... you could play something
for 45 minutes and come out with very few points. Or you could play for 5
minutes and get the same 50 points. There was no way to really accumulate a
lot of points, other than play every game, every day... which wasn't to my
taste.

I agree with that. I liked the Witchery game for example but instead
play Puzzle Quest on my DS for a better personal return on my time as it
is pretty well the same game.
