Is it just me or is AAA a lot harder to beat this time around. There are a
few games that I have no hope of completing on this challenge, which is
rare. (Daily Dare is different, there's frequently things I can only beat
Abby at) :)

Yes it is much harder this year.

And, as has been happening every time they do a daily challenge of late,
day one started when the news was released and ended at midnight on the
same day - making day one last only 6 to 8 hours. That is short for
those in a similar timezone to Neopets, but those of us is very
different timezones do not even get to see it - so on our first day we
are faced with both day 1 and day 2 challenges - which makes it hard to
ever catch up.

They just don't care. I am not even trying anymore. When I visit the Neopets
pages, the first thing I see is that new Nickelodeon banner and then I have
had it already and leave again. :)

Nowadays I am playing Viking Clan and Castle Age on Facebook. It's not the
same as Neo, but it's fun.
I miss the Neo from the old days, but that does not exist anymore. Sad but
true.

I miss the old days too. Neopets has always been a bit lacking when it
comes to quality but I always felt they were actually doing their best.

I do not however believe this current lot are doing their best. I
actually think the site is going to implode at some point as more and
more of it is breaking and nothing ever seems to get fixed when it does.
But perhaps that will be a good thing.....

I have gone out of my way *not* to take up another game since the demise
of VPN in an attempt to spend less time on the computer. :-)

Yeah, that is what I said too some time ago...

But then some friends persuaded me to start playing Viking Clan...
At least it does not consume as much time as VPN did. And it's less boring.

Adam and Donna now have Island Paradise and that is really nothing.
A shameless copy of Farmville, which is a copy of another game.

And now some people had the nerve to make another island farming game, man,
you should have seen the reactions...
"How dare they imitate Adam and Donna?" :-D

In fact I am spending most time with playing Sims2 again. :) For as long as
it lasts.

But this is all very 'off topic'. ;-)
